Poken S.A. Signs Partnership With MMI to Launch its Social Networking Products into the North American Promotional Market

Strategic Partnership with MMI brings extensive high-tech product knowledge, supply chain expertise and scale to Poken’s North American distribution strategy.

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 22nd, 2010 – Today Poken S.A. is announcing the formation of a strategic partnership with MMI International Trade (MMI). MMI -- one of the USA’s largest suppliers of cutting-edge products -- will be a major partner for the promotional space in North America. With its numerous Fortune 500 clients that it works with via its extensive North American distribution network, it will assist Poken in setting foot into the U.S. market.

Poken’s ‘social business card’ is a perfect fit with MMI’s existing technology product line, including “smart” USB devices, mobile and computer accessories, and more. MMI will offer poken only to Authorized Distributors. Because of the broad scope of the poken product, an Authorized Distributor must go through a rigorous training schedule to be able to competently represent the product to their customers. All successful distributors will be protected by customer, geography and price exclusivity.

Social networking is gaining momentum as a primary marketing tool for business. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube are proliferating and poken is a tool to provide the bridge between real-world and online identities.
